Google Expands It’s AI Search

Google has announced that it is expanding its AI-powered search experience to more than 120 new countries and territories. This feature, known as Search Generative Experience (SGE), uses Google Bard AI to provide users with more comprehensive and informative answers to their search queries.

SGE was first launched in the US, India, and Japan in 2023, and has since received positive feedback from users. Google says that SGE is particularly useful for complex questions that users might not typically think to search for.

For example, if a user searches for “how to start a business,” SGE might provide them with a step-by-step guide, as well as links to relevant resources. Or, if a user searches for “what are the best restaurants in New York City,” SGE might provide them with a list of restaurants, along with reviews from other users.

Google says that SGE is still under development, but it is committed to making it as helpful and accessible as possible. The company is also working on developing new AI features for search, such as the ability to translate search results into different languages and provide personalized recommendations.

Here are some of the benefits of Google’s AI-powered search:

  • More comprehensive and informative answers: SGE can provide users with more comprehensive and informative answers to their search queries by taking into account the context of the query and the user’s intent.
  • More personalized results: SGE can learn about a user’s preferences and interests over time, and use that information to provide more personalized search results.
  • More accessible search: SGE can make search more accessible to people with disabilities and people who speak languages other than English.

Overall, Google’s AI-powered search is a significant step forward in search technology. It has the potential to make search more helpful, informative, and accessible for everyone.
