Instagram Announces Broadcast Channels For Creators

Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, has announced broadcast channels for the creators.

Instagram has also observed that most users prefer to engage privately through direct messages (DMs) rather than through stories or their feeds.

Therefore, to boost engagement on the platform, creators will now be able to share posts and messages through broadcast channels on the platform.

Users will then be able to read and react to the content shared by their favourite creators.

This will also enable creators to connect with their most loyal fans (cream audience) and promote their products and services to those who are more likely to make a purchase from them.

This feature is only available to a select few creators in the world. However, you can sign up for Instagram’s waitlist here.
