Google Simplifies Search For Bilingual Users In India

In the eight Google for India events conducted this week, Google has announced several new features to simplify search for users in India.

You can now search in Hinglish on the web. Even the SERP will now deliver results in the language(s) you are comfortable with.

“From breaking down language barriers, to helping a billion people access information in more natural ways, to keeping people safe at every step, these innovations underscore our commitment to helping make a digital India a reality.” – Google

Even voice search in India will now support bilingual queries.

You will also be able to search for videos on Youtube. This feature will help you skip to the part that you think will be most helpful to you.

For medical professionals, Google is now using AI to roll out the feature to reach complicated handwriting so google lens will be able to read medical prescriptions.

This feature is not yet rolled out and will likely be available to medical professionals first.
