Good news, content creators! You can now check if your Instagram posts are eligible for recommendation. Instagram has now expanded their account status feature. You will now receive a yellow alert if your content needs to be modified or removed.
Instagram’s recommendation guidelines decide if your content is shown to non-followers. As part of Instagram’s efforts to promote transparency, the account status feature has now been expanded so that creators can see if their content complies with their recommendation guidelines.

We’re expanding Account Status so professional accounts can understand if their content may be eligible to be recommended to non-followers.

What Does That Mean For You?
- You will now be able to see if your content is eligible for monetization.
You can now see if your content is eligible for recommendation via Feed, Reels, and Explore section.
2. You will also be able to understand why your content is not being shared with your target audience.
You will be able to see why your posts are not being recommended to other Instagram users.
3. You can now challenge Instagram’s decision regarding your posts.
You can also request Instagram to review your posts if you do not agree with their decision/think that they have made a mistake.
This is definitely good news for Instagram creators and influencers. You will now receive clear information about why you are not gaining new followers or why your engagement rate is less than what you expected.
