Meta Verified Launches in India, Offering Blue Tick Verification for Rs. 599

Meta has launched its Meta Verified subscription service in India, offering users the ability to verify their accounts with a government ID for a monthly fee of Rs 599. 

The subscription is currently available for Instagram and Facebook, and will soon be rolled out to other Meta platforms.

Meta Verified users will receive a blue verified badge on their profile, which will help users identify authentic accounts and reduce the risk of impersonation. 

Meta will also provide proactive support to verified users. 

To get a Meta Verified badge, you should be at least 18 years old and be fairly active on the platform. 

To get the blue tick, you will have to submit a government ID that matches your profile name and photo on your Instagram or Facebook account. It means that accounts that have brand names which have profile names may not be able to benefit from the badge.

Meta Verified its price at Rs 599 per month in India. The service is currently available for iOS and Android devices, but Meta says it will be available on the web as well.
