Google Adds 2 New Metrics In Google Analytics

Carly Boddy, Product Manager at Google Analytics, announced the launch of two new features on 30 November, 2022.

You will now be able to track views/session and average session duration in your Google Analytics Account.

These features are available in Explorations and Reporting Customizations

Views Per Session: Views Per Session can be defined as the number of web pages/app screens a visitor loads in a session.

Average Session Duration: This metric measures the number of minutes(or seconds) a user spends on your website in a single session.

Please note that there may be a slight difference in the measured data in GA4 and GA Universal. Most marketers, however, recommend that you use GA4 due to its advanced features and regular updates.
