Twitter Enables Verified Users To Post Videos As Long As 60 Minutes!

Twitter has yet another update for Twitter Blue subscribers. (Let us know in the comments if you are one of them. We’d love to give you a shout-out.)

Verified accounts will now be able to post 60-minute videos at 1080p resolution on the platform.

Twitter Blue subscribers will also rank higher in search results and conversations.

But, will it really help the Twitter Blue users?

Most people use the platform to respond to trends and have short and snap conversations.

Twitter has previously introduced podcasts and notes on the platform which didn’t really bring the traffic they had hoped for.

On the other hand, if Twitter rolls out the option to monetize the content, which they are planning to do, creators may just be interested enough to want to build their presence on the platform. They have also promised 50% fewer ads in the feed for verified accounts.

Ultimately, Twitter is doing its best to make the platform look as alive as possible with videos, notes, and public tweet counts.

The proverbial ball is now in all of our courts. Are all these offers enticing enough for you to purchase the blue tick? Do you think publishing video content on the platform will increase your followers or boost engagement on your Tweets?

We can’t really predict the future. But, with Twitter rolling out multiple updates every week, I think it’s right to say that it will continue to be in the news for a lot more than the $8 subscription in 2023.
